Nerf

Blasters by NERF are the most famous and popular dart-blasters on the market by far. The U.S. manufacturer Hasbro brought out the N-Strike, N-Strike Elite, Vortex and Dart Tag series so far. From the smallest hand blaster Reflex to the fully automatic Stampede everything is possible. But what do the abbreviations after the names mean? The last digits indicate the size of the dart capacity which the respective Blaster can accommodate and which are usually also included when you buy the blaster.

The letters give an indication of the particular mechanism by which the darts are fired or loaded:

AS - Air System

CS – Clip System

EBF - Electronic Belt Fed

ECS - Electronic Clip System

EX - External Mechancism

IX - Internal Mechancism

REV - Revolving Barrel

RV - Electronic Revolving Barrel
